Born in Nanjing, China in the 1970s, Chen went to Beijing in the 1990s to study at the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts in the Department of Decorative Arts, and after graduating from university, he worked in design, media, public relations and many other industries; in 2016, he started to work full time on his art. Now he lives and works in Beijing and Shanghai.

Chen has developed a highly recognizable personal language over the years, combining traditional, future, decorative and graphic. Chen has formed his own unique artistic style by combining traditional, futuristic, decorative and graphic diversity in his works.
